At Evolving Social Resources Inc., we’re all about supporting and empowering your well-being. We offer compassionate and professional mental health services in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Additionally, mental health services are provided to Misipawistik Cree Nation through a travelling provider on a bi-weekly basis. Service providers’ intentions are to walk alongside you on your journey. We believe in providing a safe and supportive space.

Is Our Priority
We offer registered social work services through Indigenous Services Canada’s Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) – Mental Health Counselling Program. We understand the importance of accessible care, and we are here to help you get the support you need.
We currently provide mental health and consultation services in Winnipeg – Treaty One Territory. This includes serving those with indigenous status accessing the NIHB mental health program (self-referrals are accepted) in the region. Additionally, Evolving Social Resources Inc. extends our mental health counselling services to the Misipawistik Cree Nation (MCN), located in Treaty Five Territory. Any citizens residing and/or requiring services in Misipawistik Cree Nation – MCN Health Authority are always welcome.
Kevin Haywood B.A., B.S.W., R.S.W. is the sole provider who travels to MCN on a bi-weekly basis.
Our Services: A Holistic Approach
We offer a range of services, with our primary focus on providing mental health counselling as part of First Nation Non-Insured Health Benefits. We also offer social work consultation services, providing professional and ethical support and guidance.
Apart from our mental health and consultation services, we are passionate about supporting literacy. We’re thrilled to share our first children’s literacy campaign publication, Fluffy The Cloud Eating Giraffe. It’s a heartwarming read, perfect for young children, and a wonderful gift.

A Brief Overview
We’ve been serving the community since 2014, continually evolving our services to better meet the needs of our community. Our focus is always on providing excellent mental health and consultation services. During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our reach. We added a publication division, creating resources to support our community.
Fluffy The Cloud Eating Giraffe was born during that time. It’s a light-hearted story for children, created with love and care.
